C7 is the more compact format for trees, wreaths, detailed rooflines, and denser decorative layouts. C9 creates a stronger visual presence for rooflines, larger properties, and longer viewing distances. Final selection should also consider the matching E12 or E17 socket line.
Faceted lenses create a classic prismatic sparkle, clear lenses produce a more defined light point, transparent-milky lenses soften the visible LED point, and opaque milky lenses create the most diffused appearance. Availability depends on the selected C7 or C9 model.
Replacement may be possible after the lamp base, operating voltage, wire type, socket condition, spacing, outdoor protection, and control method are confirmed. C7 models use E12 sockets and C9 models use E17 sockets.
